About Tammy

During different times in her life, Tammy says the Lord has driven her to her knees but He has never dropped her on her face. Dealing with serious life issues with a twist of humor is how Tammy chooses to approach life.

As an author, brain tumor advocate and animal rescuer, Tammy is continously on-the-go raising awareness for those issues near and dear to her heart.

Darrow's Hope was founded in 2011 following the diagnosis of her husband's brain tumor. Since that time Tammy has been a staunch brain tumor advocate. Darrow's Hope has created a variety of programs to minister to brain tumor patients (with both malignant and benign tumors) and their families.

Tammy is an advocate for the National Brain Tumor Society.

She has founded two active animal rescue organizations: Celebrating Pugs and EOM Rescue, which are now programs for Hill Hounds where she is Executive Director.

Tammy has two books slated for release in 2015. At the present time she writes for a variety of different advocacy groups. In 2013 her story was published in New Life Within, a book currently available for purchase on Amazon.

She holds a license to minister. She is affiliated with  Cross of Golgotha Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church founded by her husband, Pastor Joe Darrow; and Fish Locker Christian Fellowship.

Tammy is a wife, mother of seven, and grandmother to five. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, her animals, gardening, refinishing furniture, and the beach. She currently lives on the beautiful eastern shore of Maryland.
